Hi, my name is Kristin Peixotto!

I am a strategic communicator focused on engaging publics through digital media. While working as a Classroom Magazine Intern for Scholastic books, located in New York City, I worked to beta test websites.

I then integrated my knowledge of technology in other positions. While working for Sustainable Seattle, a nonprofit organization, I used digital content to engage with audiences. Over a six-month period, this resulted in a 95% increase in Facebook page likes, about 570,000 Twitter impressions, and newsletters that averaged about 820 views.

Currently, I am on the Event Committee for the University of Oregon Public Relations Student Society of America. Here I organize the logistics for fundraising and professional development events. Additionally, I work for Allen Hall Public Relations on the Susan G. Komen account. Here I promote the Susan G. Komen Race for The Cure in Eugene within the community.

I will graduate the University of Oregon in the Fall of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations. Additionally, I hold a Business Associates Degree from Tacoma Community College. I aspire to work in a public relations or integrated marketing agency in areas such as healthcare and technology.
